Spiritual Warfare

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:11-12

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against m principalities, against powers, against n the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:

The spiritual realm is invisible to us, yet we sense it. God allowed Daniel and Elisha to see into the realm. Angelic and demonic forces are constantly at war, and we are often the weapon of choice. One of the best know examples is the story of Job.

Visible or not, we need to be aware of the powers of Satan in the world and how they attack Christians. When we accept Jesus as our saviour, All hell literally breaks loose. Satan unleashes his demons to attack us and make us doubt are faith and our salvation.

Often, his strongest weapon is found in a person around us. The term “Jezebel Spirit” has been coined to describe such a person, one who will attack your faith, your loved ones, and everything you hold dearest in an attempt to destroy you.

Notice God’s weapons: “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit.” God want us to fight the war with truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and His word.

We cannot lose! God is more powerful than all of them combined. Pray for His protection and for fortification to withstand the attack.
