TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Acts 17:24
God who made the world and all things therein, seeing that He is Lord of Heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The Proverbs 31 woman and her family attended the local synagogue and observed the Sabbath. Although she realized the importance of belonging to a congregation, she also knew that God is within us, wherever we are.
She was able to find God in a sunrise, a sunset, or a mountain view. Can you do the same?
I love the translation of Acts 17:22-28 from The Message: Starting from scratch, He made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. We live and move in him, can’t get away from him!
